Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use Membrly to run or join a community. Membrly is currently in beta, which means features change and occasional issues are expected.
1. Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
2. Organizations, membership and admin controls
Membrly is multi-tenant: content lives inside organizations. Organization owners and administrators control who is invited, which roles members hold, which modules are enabled, and which content stays published. They can approve, suspend or remove members and remove content within their own organization.
Joining an organization means its owners and administrators can see your membership record, your organization profile and the content you post there. If you do not want that, do not join or you may leave at any time.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not post unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive or infringing content
- Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
- Do not attempt to access data belonging to other members or other organizations
- Do not probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- Do not scrape member directories or use member data for unsolicited bulk messaging
- Do not upload malware or use the service to distribute spam or scams
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant Membrly the permission needed to host, store, display and transmit your content so the service can operate and so other members of your organization can see it as intended. You are responsible for having the rights to what you post.
5. Directory and privacy choices
Member directories are visible to fellow members of the same organization. Use the visibility settings in your organization profile to control what is shown. Treat other members' details as private and use them only for legitimate community purposes.
6. Events, jobs, listings, mentorship and community content
Membrly hosts content that members and organizations create — events and registrations, job postings and applications, business listings, mentorship profiles and sessions, announcements and discussions. Membrly does not verify, endorse or guarantee that content, is not a party to any resulting arrangement, and is not an employer, recruiter, broker or event organiser. Evaluate opportunities and counterparties yourself.
7. Service availability
Membrly is provided on an as-available basis during beta. We may change, add or remove features, and there may be downtime, maintenance windows or data issues. We do not offer an uptime commitment at this stage.
8. Suspension and termination
Organization administrators may suspend or remove members from their organization. We may suspend or terminate accounts or organizations that breach these terms, create security or legal risk, or harm other users. You can stop using Membrly at any time and ask us to delete your account.
9. Future paid plans
Payments are not enabled today and no charges are being collected. Plan and trial markers inside the product are informational only. If paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented before any charge and these terms will be updated.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Membrly is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here removes rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Membrly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or losses arising from content posted by members or organizations, or from dealings between members. Because Membrly is currently free to use, any direct liability is limited accordingly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected by a new last-updated date on this page. Continuing to use Membrly after an update means you accept the revised terms.
